Hello Every One and Welcome to my new Blogger page.

Here i will be putting updates and posts for my new Mannequin Heads and OOAK Dolls which i will be selling via my website.

As a introduction to my girls here are a few clips of some of the girls i have done.
I will put together sections with different styles of mannequins in different designs, but do check out my website as i have lots more on there.

There is a example of my Sailor blonde smoking girl who has her new home.
She was inspired by the roaring 20s flapper but she lived close to the sea in France and was a hard working girl, she could be found drinking with them men playing cards.....

She came from a family of other hard working sea girls.....
here are her many sisters.
I make lots of different designs and try to make them as creative as possible.
They all have there own names and personality and i like to come up with little stories of where she comes from and what she does.
This makes it more interesting when creating all my different girls.

As well as Hand painting mannequin heads on this style of poly head i also like to try out other styles in fibreglass / hard plastic. These are roughly about 40+ cm tall.

Here are some example of my tall plastic girls in a range of designs.

Here is one of my sailor girls, she is a vintage mannequin and is on a turn base so she spins. She was made using different paints and glosses and has a real blue and white stripe fabric cotton blouse with gold trim, real vintage brass button and cameo badge,

This was something different as i had not used real fabric before on one of these tall mannequins.
Here is a side view of her, she is sooooo pretty, i really did not want to sell her but i cant keep every single one and i love that other people love my designs too.

You can see from photos i used real big false eyelashes too for a glam effect.

I really love painting there faces, i can see her being to take on her own personality.
Here is a close up of her pretty face. I try to get as many photos as possible of details, like here you can see detail on lips and eyes.
Here is a few photos of other mannequins in the taller style in a variety of different designs.

There is a darker mannequin which is in a flapper Art Deco style.
She is rare as there are not many black mannequins in this style if any.

The other is a glam girl with dark big eye make up with glitters and shadows.
I used real make up on some of these as well as paints.
